This Privacy Policy explains how Ragondin Dev Inc. (“Smart Gout Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

• Account info: Email address you provide to sign in (via magic link).
• App data you choose to upload: Meal photos and scan results (e.g., Safe / Caution / Risky). You can delete them anytime in the app.
• Device & usage: Basic technical data (device type, OS version, app version) and coarse usage events (e.g., “scan started/done”) to operate and improve the Service.
• Purchases: Subscription status and product identifiers from Apple/Google to enable your plan (we don’t receive your full payment details).

2. How we use information

• Provide and maintain the Service (sign-in, scan processing, history, subscriptions).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve features and performance (aggregate, de-identified analytics).
• Communicate with you about the Service (support, service notices).

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that help us operate (e.g., cloud storage, email delivery). They may use data only under our instructions.
• App stores (Apple/Google) for purchases and subscription management.
• Legal reasons if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

4. Data retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes. You can delete your account (and associated content) at any time from the app; we then delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal obligations.

5. Your choices & rights

• Access & deletion: View or delete your data and account in-app.
• Emails: Unsubscribe from non-essential messages (if any).
• California residents: You may request access to and deletion of personal information and opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email chloe@smartgoutcare.com.

6. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure; please use the Service responsibly.

8. International users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you use it from other regions, your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., in-app notice). The “Last updated” date will reflect the new version.
